I had a good stay and would come back. It was peaceful and quiet, and I slept better than at some hotels costing three times as much. I felt safe, and my car was secure, which is a huge plus these days. There's a nice little neighborhood behind the hotel. For the price, it's hard to beat. Nothing fancy, but it has cable TV, AC, and a comfortable bed. It's right off the interstate, with a Walgreens next door, Pizza Hut across the street, Burger King and Dairy Queen within walking distance, and sit-down restaurants about half a mile down the road. The man at the front desk was super nice, polite, and helpful when I asked for more shampoo and soap. Small world, he graduated from Georgia Southern with my son.

I was traveling alone and appreciated being placed near the office for security. The accessible room had plenty of space and was very clean, with a comfortable bed. Cable and the big flat screen were nice, too. There are lots of places to eat less than five minutes away, and the motel is right off 16. It's an old place being renovated gradually, and the furniture looked like it came from an 80's hotel. I wish the office were open and offered coffee. They only have a small walk-up window, like a bank in the hood.

We were booked for six nights but left after the first and moved to Days Inn. It cost only a little more and was much better. I wouldn't recommend this place. People in town told us the first few rooms by the lobby are nice, but the others aren't. The lobby looked nice, but guests couldn't get in, even during the day, and check-in was through a small window with a small opening in the entry. In our room, the first-floor curtains only stayed closed with clothes pins, the water was barely warm, and the shower curtain holder was coming off. It looked like it had been attached in several different spots over time.

They've renovated a lot, and my non-smoking room was very good. It's a cool spot for truckers, with a truck stop up the street.

For parents visiting their kids at GSU, this worked out perfectly: campus is a 20 minute drive away and the motel was much cheaper. It's a hidden gem for a motel, with very clean, updated rooms that smell fresh and new, plus a comfortable bed. The family who owns the place were really nice, sweet people. We'll definitely stay here again.
