The restaurant was a great part of the stay. The food was delicious, nicely presented, and served in generous portions without being foo-foo or pretentious. The dining room had a lovely feel, with plenty of space and little noise, so it made for an intimate meal. The servers were a delight, and the staff was delightful overall. Very nice accommodations, too, and there's lots of recreation nearby. Great place to stay.

We were in town for a couple of days and ended up eating here both nights. The dining room and bar staff were great, and the kitchen deserves a cheer too. The food was amazing, made to order, quick to arrive, and simply but excellently presented. I also love that you can buy the kitchen a beer. Those guys earned it.

We came for the restaurant at The Eis House, and I'd recommend doing the same. You don't need to book a room to enjoy the food. It was empty when we arrived as the doors opened, so we were seated quickly and got right to ordering. We all enjoyed the range of food and drinks. Our server was fun and easy to enjoy, and matched the ridiculous energy at our table. Since it was Thursday, flatbread night, we ordered a couple of amazing flatbreads and got to customize them ourselves. The inside of the restaurant was really nice and felt a world away from its inconspicuous exterior. My colleagues and I had a great experience. I think you'll like it here!

The service and food left me completely stuffed and happy. Baxter was funny, kind, and attentive. This family-owned restaurant, The Eis House Lodge in Mexico, NY, never disappoints.
