1818 Meridian House Apartments and Suites by Eskape Collection

The manager was kind and helpful, and we’d happily stay here again. Our six nights in the spacious two-bedroom apartment were great. It’s in a lovely spot near Lincoln Outdoor Mall, and the apartment itself is beautiful, with a fully equipped kitchen, roomy bedrooms, and a washer and dryer that came in handy. The only little drawback was the worn floor.

The location was perfect, and the towels were really soft. There were problems, though: when I arrived at 5:30 on Friday, nobody was there to help with check-in. I managed to check in over the phone, but someone should have been on site. I also found a moldy fruit tray in the fridge, and the safe didn’t work because its batteries had decayed. After I reported the issues, they waived the parking fee, though I don’t think parking should have been charged in the first place. Even with those hassles, I’ll probably stay again since the good points outweighed the bad.

We had a lovely night here with the family. The welcoming atmosphere made the getaway more enjoyable, and the comfortable accommodations worked well for us. It’s also a great base for exploring Miami Beach and the surrounding town, with the beach and attractions close by. I’d recommend staying here.

I had to find somewhere else to stay. There was no in-person check-in after 5pm, and Denata, who answered the phone, was extremely unprofessional. She texted me a form asking for a savable photo upload of my credit card through a totally unsecure web form. I refused to send it. Don’t stay here, stay away.
