The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice canal view, and the price and location are hard to beat. I’d stay here again, especially for a longer visit. There’s no room service, but guests can use the supply closet for towels and extra toilet paper. My toiletries weren’t in the room at first; I found them there later. The walls are thin, and on my last night the people next door talked through the night, along with someone speaking in the hallway. The Wi-Fi also wasn’t great for work.

It’s a quiet spot in Mid-Beach, and it’s cheap, but there’s no parking. That’s Miami, I guess. They didn’t clean the room when I asked, and the room and lobby had a very strong ammonia smell. Someone offered me $50 for a five-star review, but I never got the money. If you’re on a budget, I’d look for a better place in town and take a Lyft for a day.

Dany was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made everything more enjoyable. Hotel Alamo felt stylish, comfortable, and welcoming, and the atmosphere, cleanliness, and service all exceeded my expectations. I’d love to return and highly recommend it.

It’s a basic room rental rather than a hotel with extra facilities, but the price was reasonable and it’s very close to the beach. I felt safe as a solo woman, especially after changing the door entry code. The 150 bus to the airport stops nearby. The room had no view, but it was large and quiet, with a TV, big closet, safe, and a comfortable bed. I slept well. It was clean and had a hairdryer and iron, plus toiletries in the bathroom. A friendly receptionist spoke good English. The entry code didn’t work when I arrived, but they fixed it quickly. There were some drawbacks: the shower head was broken, the bathroom sink was blocked, and the towels were small and a bit rough. There was no sheet change during my five-day stay, so I changed the towels myself. Although the room had a mini fridge and kitchen sink, there was no microwave, kettle, cups, or plates in the room. There was just one microwave downstairs in reception for everyone.

Our original hotel had overbooked our reservation, so we booked The Alamo at the last minute. Getting into the hotel and finding the room was easy, and the room was very clean, spacious, and updated. For the price, it was an amazing deal for the area and the room’s condition. We could get towels, shampoo, and beach towels ourselves at any time, and the hotel replied quickly to texts. They even let us check out an hour late for free. We had a great stay.
