Carlyle Hotel Ocean Dr South Beach 2 Bedroom Luxury Apartment

The lobster ravioli was incredible, maybe the best dish I’ve ever had, and I love food. Honestly, everything we tried from the menu was awesome. The restaurant and the terrific staff gave us much more than we expected when we booked for the clean rooms. It was my first stay here. The room was clean, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful in a way that’s hard to find these days. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return to Hotel Ocean in South Beach.

The evening show with Luis and his dancers was a highlight, and we really liked the restaurant. The portions were large, so they let us share dishes, which we appreciated. The servers were very friendly, and hotel guests get a discount. We moved here after a disappointing stay at another hotel a few blocks down Ocean Drive, and Hotel Ocean was a huge improvement. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely bed, and everyone on staff was so welcoming and nice. When we come back to Miami, this is where we’ll stay.

The location is perfect and the customer service was amazing. I can’t remember her name, but the front desk woman from Venezuela was so kind and really good with guests. The cleaning staff were friendly too. The rooms are beautiful, but the shower pressure was very low and the water never got very hot. There were also lots of flies in our room. This isn’t a place to get much rest, since music plays all night. It might suit a younger couple, but we were flying to Paris the next day, so it wasn’t ideal for us at all. Still, for the price, you can’t beat it. Just a decent stay.

The restaurant was one of the best parts of our stay, and the service there made every meal memorable. Thank you to Barbie, Yndira, Claudia, Brenda, and Ronny for being so attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We also appreciated the blankets available if you feel cold. It’s a thoughtful way to look after guests’ comfort. At Hotel Ocean, check-in was quick and smooth, with staff greeting us warmly. Our room was very clean and comfortable, so it was easy to relax. Nothing felt like it needed improvement, and everything exceeded our expectations. We left extremely satisfied and would happily recommend the hotel and return.
