Casa Faena Miami Beach

The food at the restaurant was a highlight for our whole team. Andres served meals where every bite felt like an experience, and we’d happily enjoy it all again. Gerrit, the hotel manger, checked in with us at breakfast and dinner and was attentive and helpful. Orlando at the front desk was also incredibly accommodating to our entire team. The service and historic charm make this a wonderful Miami stay. We felt special from the moment we arrived. 10/10, I’ll stay at Casa FAENA again.

We had several meals at Campo, and every single thing we ate was delicious. The place has great vibes and a charm that feels different from the other hotels. Everyone we met was welcoming. Garit and Orlando were especially hospitable and helpful with our requests. They also gave us complimentary chairs, towels, and umbrellas to take to the beach, just a short walk across the street.

The room had outdated, unpleasant amenities. The fan smelled like a restaurant’s greasy back kitchen, and there were random noises at night that made it hard to fall asleep. Loud music from the restaurant downstairs came clearly through the room all day and continued late into the night. When I tried calling or reaching the front desk about the problems, nobody answered. The front desk was cold as well. It was a horrible experience, nowhere near worth the money, and I’m never coming back.

The price felt completely unjustified. The place seems to pretend at history and uniqueness, but to me it came across as an imitation of something antique. There was a broken shower, no robes or toothbrushes, a TV that didn’t work, and lamps that wouldn’t turn on. The restaurant downstairs was open at unpredictable times, so breakfast before 9 AM wasn’t even possible. There’s no pool either, though you can take a chair and cheerful umbrella to the beach after paying $32 for a double whiskey. With a construction site directly across the street on top of all that, we absolutely won’t return to this ridiculous place.
