The stay itself was lovely. Everyone was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Kalvin and Ariel were especially kind, welcoming, and helpful, and made the visit more memorable. The property was nice too, but I won’t be back because checkout was disappointing. The paper I was given at checkout showed total charges of $389.56 and a refund of around $360. After we left, an email arrived with a different final total, $549.92, and no one had explained the change in person. I don’t think it’s acceptable to add or change charges after checkout without discussing it with the guest. At 1 Hotel, where I’ve stayed before, things were clearly explained at check-in and checkout, which made the whole process smoother and more transparent.

The musicians add a lot to *Obsession*. The multi-instrumentalist with yellow hair, on violin, guitar, and piano, was mesmerizing, and the saxophonist had an electrifying presence. His improvisations with Sofia made the performance even more dynamic. “Muscle Mami” was astonishingly athletic, with several jaw-dropping moments that lifted the energy of the whole show. Sofia commands the stage from the start. Her voice, charisma, professionalism, and natural leadership are extraordinary, and she connects with the audience in direct and subtle ways. The experience feels personal and immersive, and leaves you wanting more. The whole cast is impressive. This is a full sensory experience, unique and captivating, and I wholeheartedly recommend seeing *Obsession*.

The birthday stay started with a lot going for it: the property is beautiful and has one of Miami’s best atmospheres. The design, beach access, and overall look drew me to Faena, and the check-in staff were warm and attentive. My spa provider was excellent and a highlight of the stay. Service elsewhere didn’t live up to the hotel’s reputation or price. A friend sent rosé and a birthday card to my room during dinner, but at 1:30 am room service woke me to collect the table. It felt inappropriate and disruptive, and I couldn’t get back to sleep, which affected the next day. The attendant also took the bottle and card, which was strange and disappointing. Beach service was very delayed, with orders repeatedly mixed up. Lunch in the courtyard was slow too. It took ages for anyone to acknowledge us, so we eventually left. The attention to detail and service felt noticeably below what I expected from a hotel that presents itself as one of Miami’s best luxury properties.

Luis at the main entrance is the best. The staff are above average and understand hospitality at another level. It’s rare to see that, and management deserves credit for recognizing exceptional service and people. The decor, atmosphere, and especially the staff make this place one of a kind. Such a treat. We won’t stay or dine anywhere else on Miami Beach! 🌟

Ridge at the pool made my beach day special. He gave excellent, attentive service and kept checking that everything was right and whether I needed anything. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I had a great experience at Faena Hotel Miami Beach and will definitely come back. 🌟
