The Fairwind Hotel

The room I booked wasn’t what I expected and could use a little renovation. Concierge Daniela was extremely helpful, though. She showed us the few available rooms and let us choose the one that suited us best. I appreciated Daniela’s service and the late checkout she arranged.

Clean, comfortable, and well organized, with excellent customer service. Diego was the standout for me: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. He made me feel welcome right from arrival and went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Thanks to him, the experience was better than I expected. I’d recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

Liz at the front desk was so nice and sweet, and the service was good. The rooftop pool is great, the hotel is nice, and the rooms are decent enough. Location’s good too, with the beach just a block away. Room prices aren’t bad, and you get what you pay for.

The location is perfect, with a rooftop pool, comfortable bed, renovated bathroom, and excellent daily housekeeping. We were steps from the beach, and for the price, it gave us a place to sleep and a pool. Our midweek visit also meant we avoided the weekend party scene. The front desk staff barely acknowledged us when we arrived or passed through, with no welcome or thanks. One woman with heavy eye makeup was especially disengaged, mostly texting while I stood at the desk. The room was a reasonable size, but the furniture took up half of it and was laid out badly. The dark colors felt like a poor choice for Miami Beach. It sufficed for what we paid, but a little work on the design and customer service could make it a great hotel. Before check-in, the website showed a 404 error for weeks. Staff didn’t explain why, though you could call to confirm your reservation. I never got an email confirmation beyond the Capital One email, which isn’t usually what happens with a third-party booking.
