Greenview Hotel by Lowkl

I was only here for one night, and I can’t recommend it. The room was tiny, and the bathroom sink looked smaller than an iPad. Music played until morning, and traffic on the road was loud. I’d hoped the place would be set back from the main drag, but it wasn’t. Entry was a problem too. The code for the front door and my room worked at first, then stopped working after midnight. Luckily, an employee was in the lobby and let me in. Getting locked out of your room isn’t fun.

For our one night, the Greenview hotel had what we needed, and it’s a convenient, relatively affordable South Beach option. We could walk to the beach, restaurants, and lots of shops, and the staff were friendly. The walls are thin, so light sleepers may hear everything. Our neighbors were quiet, thankfully, and we could hear a band outside, but it stopped at a reasonable hour. I’d read lots of comments about cockroaches and ants and almost canceled because I’m deathly afraid of cockroaches. I didn’t see any roaches, just one ant in the bathroom. The hotel could use renovation.

The place is old and looks dated, and the rooms are small, just enough for the purpose. You’re paying for the location. Staff do a great job keeping it clean, though, and Isabella at the front desk was especially friendly. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and shared helpful local information. I’d recommend staying here.

Isabel was a wonderful host at greenview by lowkl and helped us with all our activities. The bathroom in our room was small, but we had a nice stay overall. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to stay near Miami Beach.
