The balcony's water view is spectacular, and the room has plenty of space. If you get an updated room, the decor is very nice. The hotel itself is somewhat dated, though, and the room could've been cleaner, even if nothing was overtly dirty. Keep in mind the cafe closes at 3 pm. There's a supermarket-style shop for snacks, and valet parking costs $45, which feels pretty steep even by Miami Beach standards.

The room fits six, but the beach provides just two sun loungers. Cleaning the room isn't included in the price, and with only one elevator working for the whole hotel, the lines can get long.

From the 15th floor, I had an amazing view of the Bay and downtown, especially at sunset and after dark when you could see the downtown skyline. The hotel is beautiful, the stay was incredible, and the staff were very nice.

The hotel is old and smells bad, and parking is expensive. Service was the worst, with staff who were super ignorant and grumpy.

There's a supermarket in the building, and the pool is good. The apartments are large, with decent space, and it's close to the water. Not bad, but not amazing.
