Renzzi On The Beach

The apartment had a strong paint smell, dirty kitchen dishes, and an induction cooker that was useless when I tried it on the last day. It kept showing an error and wouldn’t heat anything. The TV remote didn’t work, and the screen froze. Even worse, the stairs were completely dark from the first day because no lights were working. I had to use my phone flashlight every time I went up or down so I wouldn’t fall. A hotel should not allow something that dangerous. I stayed four days, and the whole experience was disappointing. I expected basic safety and working equipment, but got neither. I don’t recommend it.

The only good thing was the location, and luckily we were there for just one night. We booked a room for three, but there weren’t enough towels, blankets, or pillows for everyone. There was visible mold in both the room and bathroom, which is unacceptable and a serious health concern. When we asked for the missing items, we were told they’d only be brought the next day, which made no sense for a one-night stay. The listing clearly promised a 24-hour front desk, but there was no staff available at all. The service was extremely poor and the information misleading. I’d strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

We never felt comfortable or safe in the apartment. There was a main entrance door that wouldn’t lock from the inside, plus a connecting door to another unit with a gap underneath. We could hear every sound from the neighbors, as if they were right there with us, and they could easily have looked under the door. The shower curtain was visibly moldy, and the place was extremely dirty, with hair and body hair in several spots. We left after about an hour. Getting in was a problem too. Check-in was listed for 3:00 PM, but we had no self check-in instructions then. Airbnb support had to contact the host, who said it was a mistake, that check-in was actually at 4:00 PM, and that instructions would arrive at 3:45 PM. They didn’t come until 6:00 PM. Luckily, we were on a flight and reached the apartment around 8:00 PM. We got a full refund immediately, which I appreciated and took as a sign the host knew this was their fault. I wish I’d read the Google reviews instead of trusting Airbnb’s average ratings. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

It’s a few blocks from the sand and shops 🌴, so the location is decent, but the stay doesn’t feel like a relaxing beach break 😬. The rooms are cramped and the photos give the wrong impression. Guests mention dirty beds, persistent dust, and grimy bathrooms 👃🪳. Sometimes there’s no hot water, there are odd smells, and you can hear everything through the thin walls 😴🔊. More like a sketchy budget crash pad than a comfortable holiday spot. If sleep and hygiene matter to you, look elsewhere. 🧼🚪
