The meals were all standouts for us: Ocean Front Grill, Jaya, room service, and the breakfast buffet were outstanding. We also loved the service around the pools, and the spa gave us a relaxing moment during the trip. The staff made everything feel thoughtful from arrival through departure. Our concierge Cesar arranged reservations and had car service take us to dinner within minutes. Carleo always greeted us with warm conversation and great service when we passed through. Pablo had our bags ready at the door and made sure we were loaded into the car for the airport. We had an exceptional stay at The Setai Miami Beach and will be back. You have a customer for life!

The three temperature-controlled infinity pools facing the ocean were a highlight. With the palm trees and water views, the pool area is especially lovely around sunset. The Setai is one of the most peaceful luxury hotels in Miami Beach, and the whole property feels refined, well cared for, and exceptionally well serviced. It feels like a quiet oceanfront sanctuary, quite different from Miami’s party-focused spots. Calm music, beautiful Asian-inspired design, and attention to detail set the mood from the moment you walk in. It’s a lovely choice for a romantic escape, a quiet luxury stay, or simply exploring Miami Beach. If you’re looking for luxury and tranquility, The Setai is one of the best places to experience it. — Chris Raborg The Cyborg Project 🤖

The food at the Mother’s Day brunch was abundant, with so many choices and a great presentation. Even with the number of guests, the whole experience ran remarkably well. The hosts, servers, runners, and food station attendants were an exceptional team, and they made brunch feel perfect. I’m very grateful. The rose gift was much appreciated, and it opened beautifully.

I arrived on time for my noon reservation at Jaya’s weekend brunch, but the hostess, a young Hispanic woman who seemed about 20, was neither pleasant nor friendly. She told us to get a drink in the dining area while we waited for a table. After 15 minutes without hearing from her, I asked when we’d be seated. She said it would be about an hour, which made me wonder why reservations were being taken. An older African American woman who seemed to be a manager overheard us and got me a table within five minutes. By then it was 12:30. Before I was seated, I saw white customers being taken straight to their tables. The clientele I observed during my two-hour visit included many white Russians and Jews, along with some Hispanic and African American guests. I’m a person of color, and the experience left me feeling discriminated against. My waitress, Sofia, started out friendly, but then stayed in a corner without checking whether we needed anything. My water and champagne glasses were left empty several times, and I had to flag down staff for refills. Other tables had buckets with champagne and water, while we had none. When I asked another server about it and said it might be easier to serve myself than keep asking for water, the difference was clear. No one we interacted with explained there was a two-hour limit. At exactly 2:30, our check arrived before we’d had a chance to get dessert. After we paid, a young Black man told us we had to leave. For a supposedly high-class establishment, the staff were lazy, unprofessional, and seemed to lack customer service training. I’ll never return.

The show on both sides, with music and an elegant atmosphere, made the night feel magical. It reminded us a little of Cirque du Soleil, and the whole ambiance was insane. We were a group of 10 and had one of our best dinners ever at The Setai in Miami. The bartender made great drinks and was super friendly. Once we sat down, we were told we had a two-hour window, but the service was timed well and never felt rushed. The food was exceptional from starters through mains. When we mentioned our friends’ birthday, they surprised us with a cake, such a classy touch. Even though we ran a little over the two hours, they handled it respectfully. A huge hit, highly recommend if you’re going out in Miami.
