The room was filthy, with a few dead bugs in the bathroom, and the place looked nothing like the online photos. Management was worse than poor, and housekeeping wasn't much better. They took $100, more than the room cost, and never refunded it. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This place is nasty. If you have asthma or any breathing problems, stay away. It feels like you could suffocate in there.

We felt gross even after spending just a few hours in the room, and didn't stay the whole night. There was a smoke and marijuana smell, poop on the floor, mold on the walls, and stains and holes in the walls and on the blankets and sheets. The room was outdated, too. We were told it was ready, but when we arrived the door was wide open and the housekeeping attendant was still inside cleaning, though it didn't look like much had been done. We were meant to get a queen bed, but what we got looked like a mini full. The website said the hotel was next to the airport, but it was 45 minutes away and we had to pay for a taxi. There was no shuttle. If I could, I'd give this hotel negative stars.

That hot tub in every room is a big plus, and for the price I’d stay here again. Miami hotels cost a lot, and this was the cheapest place I could find while doing consulting work nearby. I expected an old, run-down place and got just that, which I could live with. Across my three stays, I had two roaches on the first visit, plus a faint marijuana smell that didn’t bother me. There was a fumigation notice about a pest problem, too. On my second stay the door lock didn’t work right. The front desk employee seemed annoyed, insisted it worked, and told me to keep trying. A service staff member checked it, confirmed it was broken, and got me moved to another room. After that, things went fine, with no bugs or odors, and my third stay was problem-free. The decor was pretty tacky, especially the Rococo-style paintings in a first-floor room by the pool and the random sculptures outside. Still, cheap room, roof overhead, hot tub. lol.

Cockroaches were everywhere when I got back from the mall, and this place felt like a rat hole. There are stacks of garbage mattresses in part of the lobby, and the washrooms are bolted shut. They know about the problems and don't care. Drug deals happen often in the parking lot, and there aren't any amenities nearby. The closest place takes a $25 cab ride each way. Please save your money and don't stay here. One star is too generous.
