The host was responsive once I managed to get in touch, and check-in went fairly quickly. It isn't available around the clock like many Miami hostels, though, so check the hours and directions before booking. I had trouble relaxing because of a pest issue during my stay. The house and rooms weren't comfortable, either. The bunks are rough 2x4s, wobble a lot on both levels, and feel unsafe when climbing up or down. I understand the rates are low, but even in a budget market like Miami, a place can still be comfortable and clean. This seems more suited to local residents in transition or dealing with housing difficulties than to vacationers or digital nomads. If you're considering it, I'd confirm the room setup and the kinds of guests staying there.

The owner is super sweet and nice. The house is always clean, and the rooms and beds are really comfortable. It's also very affordable!!!!
