Herman was a real standout, friendly and professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was handled. It’s rare to meet someone who cares so much about guests, and he made a big difference to our stay. The Hampton Inn in Dadeland, FL was clean, comfortable, quiet, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, everything felt fresh and organized, and the location made it easy to get around.

The location is great, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. We paid $300 for one night in a humid, smelly room with no running water. Maintenance got it working for an hour, then we had no water again for the rest of the night. I called in the morning to have it “fixed” again so we could bathe, but it barely worked, just a slow trickle of scalding water. I’m really disappointed. They could have offered us another room, but didn’t. Room 417.

Our family had a good time here. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot breakfast. The gym and outdoor pool were open. Both the Metrorail station and Dadeland south Mall were easy to reach on foot.

The breakfast was much better than the continental breakfasts I usually avoid. There was plenty of variety, and everything was hot and tasty. The rooms were immaculate, the service was fantastic, and the hotel clearly has things together. I’ve stayed at three- and four-star places that weren’t even half as good. Great work by management and staff, and I’ll definitely be back.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had at a hotel lately, and I loved the outdoor jacuzzi tub. The place has been renovated, everywhere I saw was extremely clean, and the staff were super helpful. It was great value, and I loved my stay!
