The billing problem was the worst part. A front desk clerk charged me twice and couldn't explain how to refund it. At checkout, another clerk said the refund had been issued and emailed me a receipt, but no email arrived, and two weeks later my bank confirmed no refund had been made. The hotel doesn't answer its phone, and even Holiday Inn corporate couldn't reach them. I don't recommend staying here. The room was dated but acceptable. The AC had been unplugged underneath and struggled to keep the room at 68 overnight, even though outside temperatures were only in the low to mid 70s. I left early and waited nearly 15 minutes for warm shower water. There was no microwave or plastic laundry bag in the room.

We held our conference here and had a really good experience. The staff were helpful throughout, and the meeting area was clean, comfortable, and well arranged. Our guest rooms were spotless and relaxing too, which made the trip easy for the group. I'd happily recommend it for business events or group stays.

We waited more than an hour because our rooms weren't ready when we arrived, and once we got in, they smelled awful. There weren't any towels in the bathroom, the phone didn't work for contacting guest services, and the ice machine on the sixth floor was out of order. We were also told there'd be a shuttle to the cruise port when we booked, then told they no longer offer it. Before the trip, they had charged me hundreds of dollars months after booking, even though I was told payment would be due at check-in in November. They rarely answer the phone, and when they do, they may hang up if they can't understand you. Book at your own risk. You deserve better, so treat yourself instead of cheating yourself.

I spent 25 days here, and it was one of my best stays so far. The location worked really well, close to the airport, across from Doral Central Park, and near lots of places to eat. The staff made the stay especially nice, always welcoming and happy to chat. Festus, the manager, was one of the most energetic people around and always seemed to have a smile. Housekeeping was sometimes hard to communicate with because of the language difference, but they really tried to help me. The breakfast menu got repetitive over 25 days, though the dining staff's politeness and hospitality helped make up for it.
