The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the bed was so uncomfortable that I woke with serious neck and back pain. When problems come up, don’t count on flexibility either. They didn’t offer a refund, even though the stay had become uncomfortable. I arrived at about 1 a.m. and soon heard a couple near the lobby arguing and yelling aggressively. I asked the desk clerk not to put me near them. He kept insisting that the “best room in the back” was the right one, but after walking all the way there I found it was next to the same people. I went straight back because I didn’t feel comfortable there. Only after I insisted did he give me another room in the interior hotel section. By then, I’d lost trust in how staff were handling guest safety. The layout adds to the uneasy feeling. Some rooms have motel-style doors facing the parking lot, while other parts have interior hallways and an elevator like a regular hotel. The two styles are mixed together, and the place feels chaotic rather than secure. People were coming and going in the parking lot late at night, giving the property an unsettled atmosphere. It’s close to the airport and has a shuttle, but I didn’t feel safe staying there. I travel often and rarely leave negative reviews, but other airport travelers should know what happened. What looked online like a convenient airport hotel turned into a stressful, unpleasant stay. If you want somewhere quiet and safe near the airport, seriously consider other options.

There’s a good restaurant right across the street, and Target is about a ten-minute walk away in a good neighborhood. The rooms are clean and roomy, and our AC worked great, but there’s no fridge or storage. The furniture and decor could use some investment; it could be a really cool hotel with that attention. For the price, it’s fine for a night, especially if you’re a cruiser arriving late and trying to save money.

Being near the airport is a plus for passengers, but the rooms need considerable work. The beds and furniture should be cleaner and tidier. Staff need much more training and guidance on welcoming guests and making a positive impression. With upgrades to the service and facilities, the hotel could bring in a lot more guests.

My family felt welcome, and the staff were fantastic, really helpful to us. It’s very close to the airport, too. A 10/10 hotel for us, and I recommend it to everyone.
