Private Oasis at Arya

The location by the bay is perfect for watching fireworks, and I can’t wait to return next year. The people here are attentive and so nice, the rooms and common areas are clean, and the poolside attendants are friendly and very helpful. I absolutely love this place.

We stayed in room 1604#1 and wouldn’t recommend this condo or hotel. It’s outdated, with cheap decor and just one beat-up chair. The balcony slider didn’t lock, and a piece of tarp fabric separated our balcony from the one next door. The TV had ROKU, but we spent ages trying to get it working and couldn’t find anything current. Changing channels meant starting over and entering passwords again. The king bed was uncomfortable. I could feel my partner move, and the pillows were lumpy. The bathroom fixtures were old, and the faucets sprayed water with little control. We learned on arrival that the poolside bar wasn’t open and the rooftop bar and spa tub/pool were under construction. The pool area needs updating and looks much better in pictures. We paid more in extra fees and cleaning than for the room, then found a sign saying we had to remove our own garbage. Never again. We’ll choose Hliday inn next time for the quality room and to be treated like a guest. Don’t stay here!

Natalie greeted us so warmly when we arrived early. She suggested where to park and where to find good food, and let us relax by the pool until our host was ready. She stayed pleasant and helpful throughout. The suite was immaculate, the pool and spa were relaxing, and we could always find beach lounges. The marina view was beautiful. I usually stay in Coral Gables, but the shops, eateries, marina, and parks in this lovely neighborhood won me over. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d even like to invest in a property here.

The room was clean and very quiet, and the guy working at the front desk was nice. That’s the good part. The towels were on a rack above the toilet, and one fell in. Platinum members don’t get parking included, valet costs extra, and there was no valet to take our bags at the entrance. The woman at the desk at 10 pm on June 18 was the most unfriendly and unhelpful front desk person I’ve met, and I travel for work. They also wouldn’t acknowledge knowing anything about public parking. I had to ask three times before I got enough information to go on. I won’t return or recommend it. The only reason I didn’t give service one star was that the man working with her was nice.
