We were charged $110.00 a night, and the manager still got mad when we raised the issue with the air-conditioning. The next day it was warm and very dirty, and it wasn’t working right. I told the manager, who said they’d clean it the next day, but after 3 days they still hadn’t. The woman who cleans the rooms, who I think is in charge when the manager isn’t there, was hostile and wanted us to move to a different room instead of cleaning the air. We couldn’t move because my friend had surgery and I’d already cleaned and sanitized everything. We couldn’t find another place right away, but in the end we looked for somewhere else.

For travelers wanting an affordable, quiet spot to rest away from city noise, this is a great choice. It’s also available for couples looking for a 2hr stop to share each other. The personnel are compassionate and professional, and the rooms are spanking clean.

It’s a good value for the area, with CVS only a short 7-10 minute walk away. The hotel is also near a stop for the free Miami trolley, though it can get very crowded, so I’d suggest sitting at the front if you can. My room was clean, the bed comfy, and the staff friendly. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room, plus a simple breakfast of coffee, milk, and some donuts.

I stayed twice because the hotel is near the airport, but I wouldn’t go back. The bathroom needs upkeep and updating, and I saw a cockroach in the room. On the first stay, we checked in in the wee hours and I was worried about 24-hour service, but it all went well. The second time, we arrived around 6pm. The attendant only spoke Spanish, so my English-only self couldn’t communicate with her. I started getting mad because I thought she wouldn’t let us check in. Luckily, I’d printed our reservations before leaving. I showed them to her, she checked the list of arrivals and found our name, and finally let us in. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again. 😟
