Riviera Apartments at River Oaks Marina

The rooms worked well enough for a few nights and were fairly clean and operational. What bothered me most was the loud AC inside the apartment. I had to turn it off before bed, then woke up in the night when it got too hot. There was no real concierge service, and the pool was closed during our stay. River Oaks tower is close to the ship yards and the airport, so we had to rely on a driver or Uber. The lobby was under renovation, which was fine, but it looked dusty and un-chic when we arrived.

I moved into River Oaks six months ago after my best friend, who's lived here for two years, referred me. I'd read bad reviews on different websites and felt skeptical, but visiting my friend had given me a different impression. I liked the building and how well it was kept. The lobby and some amenities were being upgraded when I moved in, and they turned out really NICE. My favorite spots are the gym and the little sand area that makes you feel like you're at the beach, kind of like Nikki Beach. I love my apartment and its amazing view of the city and river. The staff have been friendly and welcoming whenever I've been in the office, and they've been very helpful. I have nothing negative to say so far, though parking is limited. Management told me there may be changes to fix that, hopefully soon. I totally recommend giving the place a try and deciding for yourself. I think you'll have a great experience. Best of luck!!! :)

The view is very good, and the inside is clean, simple, and clear. The kitchen tools look new, almost like new. Wi-Fi is very, very bad, though. The place is under the airplane flight path, so it gets noisy sometimes.

I moved in last year, and my apartment has an amazing view. I can have my dog with me too. I'm happy to keep living at River Oaks Marina & Tower. The location isn't in a Class “A” area, but it's close to everywhere in town. The building offers valet service, and both the front desk and valet staff are always friendly and accommodating. Management, the leasing office, and staff have given me good customer service, especially while helping me renew my lease. They're courteous and seem to care whether I'm happy. The staff are friendly and take care of work requests, with work orders handled in the order they're received.
