Selina Little Havana Miami

The living room is roomy and cozy, the rooms are clean, and there's a coffee maker in the lobby available 24/7. They also have free luggage storage. Customer service was good, and they communicated well at any hour, day or night. Tower Hotel is a good rental if you're exploring Little Havana or Calle Ocho. I highly recommend it.

A charming, authentic budget hotel, within walking distance of the tourist street in Little Havana, with Cuban and Puerto Rican restaurants and shops. My room was clean and tidy, and I had no problems during my stay. If you're expecting luxury service and amenities from a very cheap place, adjust your expectations.

The location is the one good thing, but I don't understand the high ratings. This doesn't meet the standard, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's listed as a hotel but felt like a DIY stay: room service cost an extra $30, there was no room fridge or coffee station, the common area was shared, and its freezer didn't work. The building felt old and poorly maintained, with a musty smell throughout. Our first room had fruit flies and flies, so we changed rooms the next day, then got moved again to a room with a leaking shower and very high humidity. Communication was frustrating and inconsistent. The front desk wasn't there during the hours they had given us, and we only saw anyone at the desk once. The building uses a door code, but we got locked out and couldn't get an answer when we tried to contact them. Customer service was unreliable and unresponsive. This was one of my worst stays, and I don't write reviews often. It really doesn't deserve a 4-star rating.

The Airbnb listing photos looked good, but the room we actually got wasn't what they showed. We were assigned a noisy, old room on the first floor instead of the second-floor room with palm tree views pictured. You could hear everything, and it wasn't dark enough to sleep at night. At 6 in the morning I had to argue with the guy next door because his TV was so loud. The bathroom door handles and fixtures were rusty. I documented everything. I left a review on Airbnb, the host disputed it, and Airbnb approved it. Check the pictures. Don't ever book this place, especially through Airbnb. We had a terrible stay.
