The Vagabond Hotel Miami

I was in Miami for work and had one of the best stays I've ever had. The staff and front desk welcomed me and were accommodating with my service dog. Between work, we relaxed by the pool in a quiet, peaceful setting. I'd definitely return if I'm in Miami again.

There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and the lobby coffee was great. The Vagabond hotel is really cute, and the owners are there every day and seem to care about the place. We liked the poolside patio, though I wish we'd visited during ON season to try the poolside bar. The heated pool was lovely in the cooler winter weather. I didn't see a hot tub. Our room was spotless, with a spacious new shower, two freshly laundered bathrobes, and a firm new mattress with no dips.

The outdoor area and pool have a serene, vintage glamour that makes you forget about everything else. This restored historic-district hotel feels like a hidden treasure, full of classic details and old-Miami charm. The staff were gracious and attentive, and the price feels surprisingly fair for what's here. Walking in is like stepping into another era. It felt like more than a place to sleep, it was an experience.

The pool was lovely, and there are lots of great places to eat within walking distance. I rarely write reviews, but after a cancelled flight left me needing a room for four nights, the people at Vagabond made a stressful travel day much easier. Billie and Mae helped me find a room and were incredibly kind and comforting. The hotel was peaceful, with spacious, modern rooms. I'd especially recommend it for the staff.
