Tru by Hilton Salt Lake City Midvale

Parking was easy, and there are good restaurants nearby. The gym was good, the pool was nice, and the reception area looked nice too. Rooms felt a bit smaller than what I'm used to in the USA, and the soundproofing was almost nonexistent. Breakfast options were limited, though the food was OK. The yogurt dispenser sat unused while I was there.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a king-size bed and good shower pressure. The facilities looked modern and showed little wear, so we thought the hotel was newer than it is. We later learned it was built in 2019. The price seemed reasonable for what you get. We were there on a Sunday in mid-September 2025. Even though Top Golf is right next door, the double-pane windows kept the noise out. Breakfast was nice, and I especially liked the mini omelette. The pancake machine was out of service, so that's why I gave service four stars. We'd definitely stay again if we're in the area.

The room was nice and clean, with spectacular mountain views, and the location was great. Our stay at the Hilton in Midvale, Ohio was pleasant overall. We were cold and asked for extra blankets. They said they'd bring some, but none arrived. When I called again, I was told to go downstairs and get them myself. That disappointing service affected the experience, even though the room and views were fantastic.

We had to book here at the last minute after a horrible experience at the hotel we originally planned to stay in. This place was modern and clean, and the room was comfortable, spacious, and super clean. The pillows were a little limp, but stacking two works fine. I'd stay again!
