Baymont by Wyndham Milan

We were stranded after our car broke down on the highway, and this was the closest place. As soon as we came in, they greeted us and got us sorted out. There were five of us and our dog, and they found us a clean room right away. Since we had no car while the shop looked at it, they let us check out later and kept checking to make sure we were okay. They helped us so much on a really stressful day.

The room was really nice, though I missed having coffee in it. The pool was too cold to swim in, maybe it’s better in summer. Check-in was easy and the young woman was very nice. The staff member at checkout was nice too.

The main drawback is how close the Baymont is to US23. Still, it was clean and comfortable, and both the breakfast and cleaning staff were kind and helpful. I shared an elevator with a friendly cleaner who spoke warmly about the new employee she was training. It was nice hearing that, and it made me think the manager must lead a very nice team.

We needed somewhere clean and inexpensive for the trip home, and this worked out well. The room was very clean, and having no carpet was a big plus. The front desk employee was friendly and helpful, and the bed was more comfortable than I expected. My granddaughter swam with her parents, and the pool area looked clean as well. No problems at all.
