Mayflower Motel Milford

Some neighbors and maids were nice, but the front desk people could be rude or smart-alecky for no reason. My dad and I went to the mayflower several times and kept asking about a weekly rate. They said they didn’t have one and would let us know if it became available. Apparently, it was available, but they had my dad pay by the day instead. The older, heavyset man who usually works there was rude to my dad and used our dogs as an excuse for why we couldn’t stay. There were more than two dogs staying there, though. My dad paid through Saturday, and I saw him do it, but the man later denied receiving the extra money. We won’t return. Before paying for extra days, check the reviews so you don’t make the same mistake.

The shower worked well, but that was about the only good thing. The TV wasn’t worth much with basic cable, the bed smelled bad, and the toiletries were old, unpleasant, and really only fit for emergencies. It’s a dump, and I’m not going back.

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The rooms were dirty and I didn’t feel safe. Motel 6 is twice as good. Don’t stay here.

I didn’t end up staying, but I stopped by to ask for a room and the man at the front desk was rude. The website says they’re pet-friendly, but they don’t take cats. Please take your business elsewhere. To the man at the desk, try being kind. Someone from out of state looking for a room for the night could use a helpful response. When I asked for help, you said, “Nope! I only know here!☺️” That was rude and distasteful.
