Milford Motel

For a quiet, comfortable night, the room had what I needed: two big beds, a TV, a small fridge, and a microwave. It was spacious and clean, and Key Food or Walmart are close by. A very pleasant stay.

The service was excellent, and the motel sits in a sweet spot just a short drive from the highway. It has a lovely old-fashioned feel. The room was a little musty when I first walked in, but turning on the AC cleared that up. I was pleasantly surprised because the photos I'd first seen didn't do the location justice.

I was glad to find an affordable place for a last-minute weekend in the area. The owners and managers were friendly, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and my room had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed, fridge, and microwave. They were painting inside and out while I was there. No complaints, and I plan to stay again next year when I'm in town.

I called to ask about the pet rules because we have two cats. The man cut me off with, "No, no cats! A million dollars a night." I was so taken aback that all I could say was okay and goodbye before hanging up. He could have simply said they don't take cats. It came across as really unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend the place.
