For our sisters’ trip, Mill Valley Inn was a lovely base right in the middle of downtown. It was my first visit to Mill Valley, and we could walk to so many cute cafés, coffee shops, and restaurants. There are also beautiful hikes nearby that you can reach on foot. The inn is small, which adds to its cozy, thoughtfully put-together feel. Our rooms were adorable and comfortable, and everyone was welcoming. Miguel made happy hour especially fun with his upbeat energy and enthusiasm while serving the wine tasting. We had such a good stay that, since getting home, we haven’t stopped talking about how cute Mill Valley is. We’ve already recommended Mill Valley Inn to family and friends.

Mill Valley had such a lovely small-town feel, and this was a great stop between San Fran and Napa, near Muir Woods. Everyone was welcoming. The evening wine and cheese were nice, and breakfast was even better than I expected. I’d come back!

We stayed at Mill Valley Inn for our wedding at Old Mill Park and the Mill Valley Community center, and the location worked perfectly. The park was just a stone’s throw away, with the community center only a short drive from the hotel. The grounds and architecture were beautiful backdrops for our wedding party photos. Our guests enjoyed the wine and cheese reception, and we liked the range of breakfast foods too.

This charming spot in a Hallmark town was easy to reach from Muir Woods, Sausalito, SF, and beyond. It has a cozy, romantic feel that would suit couples or weddings, but it worked really well for us with a toddler. At breakfast and wine happy hour, the two gentlemen serving were fantastic with our two-year-old son. I’m sorry I didn’t get their names. They gave him a special treat and remembered our drink orders each night.
