It’s fairly quiet and sits across from a huge antique mall. The place is nice and very clean. A few maintenance issues, along with the mattresses and pillows, kept it from feeling like a five-star stay.

There’s a Rutters with an Arby's across the street, plus a dollar store across the parking lot and a nest BBQ joint with live music on its outdoor patio. The hotel is right off the highway. I’ve stayed here twice, and both times the room was clean and the bed comfortable, with a nice variety of pillows.

6/10
The bed was spotless and bug-free, which is what mattered to me, and breakfast was decent for this kind of place. We were just passing through, and it did the job as a typical cheap two-star hotel. The room was clean enough, but the bathroom was a mess, with pipes leaking onto the floor, mold everywhere, and spiders. It’s run-down and ugly, though clean where it counts.

We were bitten several times within 30 seconds of entering our room after checking in. The hotel was infested with fleas. It used to be clean, but has really gone downhill over the last couple of years. What a shame.

The rooms are small, and it’s just an okay place. Definitely not worth $500 a night. It also wasn’t nice to see the price go up just because something was happening at the college.
