Morgan Inn And Suites

The staff were fairly friendly, but the rest of the stay was rough. We couldn’t get a one-bed room and were apparently given a discount as though we had. The key failed because the door batteries were dead, though maintenance fixed that. The room was pretty worn and not very clean: things stuck to the walls, dirty walls, and stains on both the mattress protector and bedspread. The bed was so uncomfortable that my fiancée and I woke up with sore hips and backs. The shower barely got lukewarm, and when maintenance said the water was warm, it still never became hot. After my fiancée showered for about 5-7 minutes, the water went cold when I got in. The showerhead sprayed in every direction, too. Paying $140 for one night made this a terrible experience, and they didn’t offer any discount afterward.

The office was locked when we arrived to check in at 6 pm. Three phone numbers were posted; the first two went to voicemail, but the third person answered and someone came by about 10 minutes later. The room itself was basic, and although the photos showed tubs, ours had a very small shower. There was also an overpowering curry smell in the office and breakfast seating area. Still, it was good value, and we’d stay again.

We brought our dogs and were given a room away from the main complex, beside a small patch of grass that was beautifully kept. The place was well cared for, and we were more than pleased. No complaints at all.

We were passing through near Walla Walla and chose this place after seeing its good reviews. Hotels in Walla Walla seemed expensive and didn’t have great reviews. Check-in was easy, and the owner was friendly and nice. Our room was spotless and felt fresh, with comfortable beds and a clean shower with great water pressure. Nothing smelled off. There’s a drive-in movie just a few minutes away, which gave us something fun to do instead of watching a movie in the room. Definitely recommend it.
