This older building gets overlooked next to all the newer residences, but I’ve enjoyed living here so far and hope to stay for years. The service and amenities have been nice. There’s laundry on every floor at reasonable prices, plus a change machine, ice, drinks, and snacks. The trash room is just down the hall, so there’s no need to go outside. I only wish the rooftop opened earlier, since the view is really nice.

We stayed here for about a month after arriving in the US. The kids were happy with the free breakfast, especially the juices and eggs, and the rooms were clean and roomy. Staff were friendly, too. It’s easy to get groceries nearby for cooking in the room, and the lake is close enough for evening walks. Being downtown also meant we could reach plenty of places on Milwaukee city buses. You get what you pay for, maybe even a little more. 👍
