Aqua City Motel

The staff were friendly, and the neighborhood was quiet. The room had a fridge and microwave, though the fridge wouldn't keep ice frozen. Hot water was properly hot, and the room was fairly clean: I found no odd substances and no bedbugs when I checked. There were holes in the sheetrock, though, and at $80 I thought the price was high for the room. There's no restaurant within walking distance.

I left after only a few hours. The first room was dirty, with an AC unit caked in dust and a carpet soaked with something unknown. I switched rooms, but the next one smelled even worse and had a bed broken and sagging in the middle. For a cheap motel, it was outrageously expensive. The worst place ever.

For $88, we got two beds, but the room had blood by the light switch and bed board, burn holes in the bed, broken TV buttons, and no shower curtain. At least it was warm. Two stars.

The neighbors were quiet, and it's right by the 4 busline. Still, the AC was awful, one side of the bed sagged badly, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. I guess that's what comes with a 1 star motel.
