Eagle River Inn

We got maybe two hours of sleep because of a loud, repeating click coming from the wall or ceiling all night. I noticed it as soon as I reached my room after checking in late in the afternoon, then told the front desk as we headed out to dinner. When we returned, the sound was still there and nothing had been done. The desk staff tried to find us another room, but the property was full. They contacted management, who seemed uninterested and said nothing could be done. I understand problems happen, but I was disappointed by how management handled this. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The yard looked picture-perfect for our wedding, and the renovations are beautiful. Our whole wedding party stayed at the Eagle River Inn for the weekend, and the owners were involved every step of the way. They helped collect chairs after the ceremony and dealt with an unexpected cleanup just an hour before the event. Their care made everything run smoothly, and we’re so grateful. The property was in wonderful shape all weekend, and it’s a stunning place to stay or consider for a wedding or other event.

My wife and I had a special stay and would come back. We spent time by the fireplace with a cocktail and played a board game, which would be just as nice on a winter ski trip as for an overnight visit. The breakfast was really good, with a charcuterie board, fresh boiled eggs, and yogurt with all the trimmings. Service was amazing, and the rooms are simple but very nice. It’s near the heart of Munturn, Co and less than 30 minutes from Vale. The Munturn Saloon is across the street for dinner and drinks.

Sitting outside by the river was a highlight, and we’ll definitely return. Eagle River Inn is a lovely, cozy lodge right beside the river in Minturn. Check-in was easy, the service was great, and our adorable room had a super comfortable bed. The lobby is a great space too, with coffee and breakfast in the morning.
