Drury Inn & Suites Destin Miramar Beach

The food was excellent. Maureen checked whether anyone needed help and kept everything fresh and well stocked. There was yogurt, freshly baked scones, waffles, scrambled eggs, and chicken sausage, and it all tasted good. The coffee selection was a real hit too. The room felt inviting, with fresh bedding, a complete kitchen we didn’t end up using, and a bathroom that was both clean and easy to use. Getting to the property was simple, and the front desk staff did a great job explaining the amenities. We’d definitely stay here again when we’re in town.

We loved our stay in the double queen suite with our two sons. It was very clean and well kept, and there was plenty of space around the pool for lounging, even though the pool itself is on the small side. The staff worked hard to keep the rooms and public areas clean and the food stocked. The suite had an apartment-size fridge, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, dishes and cookware, plus a pullout couch that was nice to sit on. We didn’t use it as a bed. The bathroom had a big shower and lots of counter space. I just wish the upstairs rooms had balconies where you could enjoy the lovely weather in the evening. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the food during the kickback could work as a free dinner if you’re trying to save on vacation. Everyone over 21 in our party could have three complimentary alcoholic drinks during the kickback. There’s a short walk to the bay, though you can’t get to the water without a boat. A playground, basketball court, and pickleball court are just down the street. It’s a short drive to the ocean, but you can’t see it from the hotel.

The strawberry-cherry sauce with yogurt at breakfast was delicious, and I was glad to see they use Dove products. Breakfast is free each day, and there’s a complimentary Social Hour Monday through Wednesday. They also have an outdoor pool, gym, and seasonal beach shuttle. Everything felt fresh and new, and the hotel was so clean and beautiful. The beds were incredibly plush, and the full kitchen and living room made longer stays really convenient. I can’t say enough good things about this nice, convenient place. I highly recommend it!

The staff made our short stay such a good one. They were courteous, helpful, friendly, and professional. Tia at the front desk was especially helpful, and Mauleen the cook was great and very friendly. Breakfast was always hot and really good. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a nice kitchen with an island and comfortable beds. Room service was available if we needed it. The views were great too. There was a nice pool, but it was too cold for us to get in, and the fitness center was great.
