Emerald Shores by RedAwning

The location is the only thing this place has going for it. We paid over $600 a night for the Martinique unit in the emerald shores, and it wasn't clean. When I asked the office for fresh linens after arriving to find dirty ones, they refused and told me I'd have to wash everything myself if I wasn't happy. I've never been treated that way as a “guest.” The owners don't seem to care for or take pride in the property. Save your money. I’ve included the pictures and messages from the owners.

We stayed in unit 9 Ruby Cove. The beds were comfortable, and the HOA staff were really friendly and helpful. The condo itself is fairly nice and not dated, though Vacasa could take care of some maintenance: the window seals are failing, there are cosmetic issues around the windows and bath, and the bath fixture pops right off. It also wasn't properly cleaned after the previous guests, and the dishes were abhorrent, possibly from several stays back. There are three flights of air base traffic each day, three days a week.

There was black mold above the door, and we found blood on the shower and sheets. Several people in my group also found bugs in their beds, and the window didn't work. We slept on top of the covers because of the stains. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We've stayed here every year like clockwork, but this time we had to leave a day early because the air conditioning quit and it was too hot. The beds are awful and the frames are worn out, and the place needs updating. For what they charge per night, these things need fixing.
