We’ve been coming to the Tops’l resort for over 20 years, and it’s always been a wonderful experience. But renters can no longer order from the pool bar and restaurant, which was one of the things we loved about Tops’l. This policy should have been disclosed before we booked. If we’d known, we would’ve stayed somewhere else, and we won’t be coming back.

The private beach access is a huge plus around Destin, where the public beaches are packed. We stayed in room 304 at the Tides, tucked all the way at the back of the Topsl resort, and the view speaks for itself. Check-in was easy thanks to the friendly staff, who were always just a message away. There’s a great gulf side pool and food bar, too. An amazing getaway, definitely recommend!

The coastal style furnishings make Tides 1311 a lovely place to stay. My Wife and I were there recently, and the unit had just been remodeled. We had great views and comfortable accommodations. I can’t wait to come back!

The beach access was great, with a great view of the water, and the condo felt high quality. Beds were comfy, too. But the room seemed to have been cleaned lazily, if it was cleaned at all. WiFi was terrible, the bathtub broke, and customer service was awful.

The water color and clarity around The Tides is the best in the area. There’s a poolside restaurant and bar, handy when you want something without going back to your room. Plenty of shopping is nearby, including the outlet mall. The Tides never disappoints. Definitely recommend Topsl Tides, check it out for yourself.
