The views are amazing, and we loved the huge pool with its just-right water temperature. The Jacuzzi was perfect too. Access to the private Gazebo and Beach requires a gate and pass codes. We’ll be snow birds soon and plan to live here.

We were impressed by how comfortable and well equipped Mediterranea 405B was. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, the kitchen was stocked well, and the views from all three balconies were stunning. The big walk-in shower and dressing table in the primary bathroom were great. Those matching leather recliners in the living room were so comfortable that we kept nodding off while trying to watch TV after days in the sun. We booked the condo on a whim just seven days before arriving, and we still can’t believe we got so lucky to find it at the last minute. It was spotless when we walked in, with a light, fresh smell and soft, neutral music already playing on the TV. Those little touches made us feel welcome right away. The Mediterranea grounds were clean, fresh, and very well maintained. We appreciated the gated access and private beach, and the area was easy to get around on foot even with a bad hip. Elevators and rolling carts made it easy to bring in luggage and groceries. Pompano Joe’s across the street is worth a stop for lunch, dinner, or refreshments. Our first time booking with Newman Dailey went smoothly, and after a great week we’re looking forward to booking with them again. Their representative was friendly on the phone, and the rental emails and texts were timely and helpful. The beach chairs and umbrella they provided made trips to the beach easy, without hauling a bunch of gear. We especially appreciated that perk after learning not every condo includes beach setup. We’d recommend Mediterranea, especially 405B, to anyone looking for an updated, upscale place that’s family friendly but still peaceful enough for people without children.
We had a lovely stay in this roomy four-bedroom, four-bath unit. The ocean views were spectacular, and there was space for a family gathering, with both formal and casual living and dining areas. The huge kitchen had everything needed to cook or entertain a large group, and there was a laundry room as well. The unit has it all: a lovely pool and hot tub, underground parking, a private elevator, and access to a private beach and gazebo.
I’ve been coming to Destin for well over 20 years and would have been renting here for my third summer, but I was refused this year because there were too many people under 25. I have three children spaced out in age, and they wanted to bring a couple of friends. We always follow the rules and have never caused trouble at any place we’ve stayed as a family. I’ll spend my money somewhere else.
The Mediterranea grounds and surrounding area were beautiful, and the beach was close by. My family and I had an awesome time and loved the space. We’ll be back!
