Summer Breeze

The room still hadn't been cleaned at 7 pm. No sheets, soap, or coffee filters. What a mess. Check the pictures. Then at 7 Saturday morning, construction noise. Enjoy!

The porch had five dead dragonflies that stayed there for all five days we were there. Nobody came to clean them up. The unit itself was disgusting. In the bathroom, the ceiling had huge water stains, there was black around the vent, and the toilet paper holder was broken and hanging apart. The light fixtures weren't secured properly, with gaps you could see into in the sheetrock. In the kitchen, the light screen was cracked in several places and held up with Scotch tape; there were two large holes beside the fridge, which was rusty all over. The vents were surrounded by black dirt or something. The living room table was broken and shook so badly it was barely usable, and the pool furniture was covered in rust and/or dirt. The website boasts a $2 million renovation and calls the facility 'practically brand new.' That couldn't be further from the truth. I'd give it zero stars if I could, and I'd file a complaint with the BBB if I could find this business.

The condos are affordable and family-friendly, with a pool on the property. They're literally across the street from the beach, an easy walk away. Each condo is decorated differently and has its own price, so I'd look at what's available and choose the one that suits you.

I spent a week in room 304 in mid-June 2025. I booked online because the advertised pictures looked good and the price was relatively low. Booking was great, and compared with other places the price seemed good before I saw the room. The balcony view was good, and being across the road from the ocean was a big plus. Parking was tight, with only one spot per room, and the pool seemed mostly for adults. The pictures are outdated, and the manor's current condition needs better care. There were cheap rusty kitchen knives and mismatched dishes that felt like camp gear, plus very powerful blowing AC. The biggest concern was the dirty carpet and floor rug. The room condition gets two stars from me. I don't have another place in mind to compare it with, but next year I'd be ready to pay a bit more for better service. If a place costs less than the competition, I still don't think it should be like this. Owners deserve more respect and loyal customers if they take better care of the business. Anyway, we tried to make the best of it with beautiful weather and a super warm, clean ocean. Thanks!
