The houses were very clean, though a little dated, and there are several pools, activities, and restaurants nearby. But the staff were rude, and we won't be back. We were given a parking pass and missed the fine print, which was hard to read in black on dark blue. We were meant to fill in certain parts, not just hang it in the window, so that mistake was ours. Still, there should be signs or security staff who knock and explain the rule. Instead, someone crept around the cars after dark, bumping trash cans and making us think there was an intruder in the driveway. When we went out to check, a man with no uniform or name tag gave us a ticket, avoided eye contact, and mumbled that we could dispute it at the office. The office woman said she was “sorry we felt inconvenienced,” which didn't feel like an apology, and didn't care that we'd felt unsafe. She said nothing could be done about the $25 fee, though we could drive 150 miles back to appeal later. So we paid and left. Don't count on Southern hospitality.
