Tops'l Beach Manor 0113

Beach Manor Room 401, Aug 7-10, 2025. At least the master bed was comfortable, the A/C could freeze over hell itself, and parking on the third floor put me right by the door. The balcony is huge, but there’s no privacy at all, something I should’ve checked beforehand. Inside, the place felt badly neglected. The appliances seemed to be from the 1970s, the furniture looked like it had survived a few wars, and the repairs were a mess. Tiles by doorways were cracked, the drywall looked poorly done, and there was a big brown water stain in the guest shower. The spare mattress felt like concrete, and the couch cushions were completely flat. Several things were falling apart: pieces were missing from the blinds, closet doors barely stayed up, and opening the sliding glass door took two people. The lights had mismatched bulb colors, and the guest bedroom outlet was coming out of the wall. This isn’t vintage charm. For comfort, modern amenities, or basic upkeep, I’d avoid it. If you enjoy bad repairs, broken fixtures, and appliances old enough to collect Social Security, you might feel right at home.

We had a great location, but our condo, unit 1111, had bed bugs. I ended up with 45 bites, and my husband had at least 10-15. Thankfully, we brought our own beds for the kids, so they weren’t bitten. I’d check the beds carefully before staying here.

Tennis was fantastic, and everyone on staff we dealt with was amazing. The legend lives on, and we can’t wait to come back! 🎾🎾

We stayed in the building closest to the beach, and the location was amazing. The rooms were a bit dated, but about average for a condo. Staff were okay, just not the best. The pool at our building wasn’t good, so we tried the nicer one at the Tides. Staff there told us to leave because we weren’t staying at the Tides and needed to use our own building’s pool. Even so, we still love the Topsl and will stay again!
