The quiet setting, beautiful views, and beach just steps away made for an enjoyable stay. We were on the 18th floor, in a condo building at a gated resort with a security guard. There are also cottages on the property. Our master bedroom had a sliding door to the balcony, where there was a table and four chairs. We booked six nights through VRBO via Destin getaways. The kitchen had what we needed to cook, though not even salt or pepper. A washer and dryer were in the kitchen, with starter amounts of dishwasher and laundry soap. For a stay longer than a week, I’d bring more. There aren’t restaurants within walking distance, so I’d recommend having a car if you fly in. We were told beach chairs and an umbrella were included, so we didn’t bring our own. They turned out not to be included, and I paid $25 with tip to use the chairs on the first day. The Wi-Fi login also didn’t work. When I called after hours, nobody could come out; I called again in the morning, and someone arrived about an hour later to tell us we’d been given the wrong username and password. The stove stopped working too, but maintenance came in about an hour and a half and found a tripped breaker.

We love coming here. The resort is clean, the pool is great, and our rental condo was amazing. This was our second vacation here, and we’ve already booked the same place for next year.

The big draw is the view and being so close to the beach. The rooms feel a little dated and damp, and there was some mold in the vents.

I've stayed here plenty of times and it's never let me down.
