Ayres Suites Mission Viejo – Lake Forest

The staff were friendly and helpful, and that’s the only reason I’m giving a star. For the price, the place felt like a truck-stop motel and was a complete waste of money. Our room faced the highway, with cars rushing past all day and night. Several rooms had a smell, and the bedding felt very low quality. We also saw a couple of bugs on the bed, and I’ll be glad if we get home without discovering bed bugs. The hotel needs a serious overhaul and basic amenities. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

We had a two-room king suite and liked the layout. Everything worked, though the fridge sometimes leaked inside. The shower pressure was excellent, and the lobby had a nice setup. The classical music in the elevators gave the place a very chill feel. We had a good breakfast, read by the pool, and enjoyed the sunsets. Great stay, and we’d come back.

My first stay at an Ayres property left me completely pleased. The room was large, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly. The pool and hot tub were excellent, and breakfast was delicious. All that came at a surprisingly low rate. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

The on-site restaurant is really good, and they had a selection of bottled and canned beers. The room was spacious and clean, with a ceiling fan, and the bathtub and shower were both nice and big. Breakfast was satisfactory, though the eggs were often overcooked. The pancakes were tasty, and they put out cookies in the evening. It’s convenient to the 241, but you’ll need transportation since there’s nothing nearby.
