Holiday Inn Downtown - Missoula by IHG

This felt like luxury pricing without the luxury. I found a hair in the eggs at an in-house catered conference, and the $16 hotel breakfast costs what is free at other places. The hotel looked like it only gets vacuumed once a month. I was also charged $35 for incidentals even though I was there with my company. A card verification shouldn't need a $35 hold. That's not right.

The rooms felt very modern and were great overall. My only issue was that mine had no microwave. The hotel is downtown, so there's plenty to do on foot, and the parking lot is secure.

Downtown location is good, and the staff were friendly, but the stay was still a letdown. The food was bleh and the parking was a surprisingly expensive extra, not complimentary. I wasn't expecting luxury, just had modest expectations, and they weren't met.

We spent two nights here and were really disappointed. In the morning, we asked housekeeping to clean our room and repeated the request at the front desk. After a full day out, we came back and nothing had been done. Having to ask for basic service while traveling is frustrating, especially at a Holiday Inn. The hotel itself was clean and in a nice location, and I appreciate the night desk staff trying to help, but the service failure ruined the stay. It wasn't what I expect from Holiday Inn.
