The outside had junk scattered around, and the area where dogs go was covered in goat heads. If you bring a dog, expect to pull thorns from its paws all day. Inside, the place was filthy: mold in the bathroom, scum in the tub, and hair clogging a drain that barely worked. There were peanut shells beside the bed and food on the room walls. I believe the windows had mold too. Hallway carpet was worn, with holes in places, and the back door wouldn't close, so a key wasn't needed to get in. My room's handle could stick and leave the door unlocked if I didn't check it. That felt very unsafe. Breakfast ran out quickly, and whenever I saw the hotel manager, he was in pajamas. I also wasn't keen on the picture upstairs showing two guys shooting at each other.

I've never seen a hotel room this dirty. Grime covered every corner, and the hallway was filthy and smelled bad too. The place was absolutely rancid. I had prepaid online and couldn't get a refund to stay somewhere else, so don't prepay if you might need to change plans. I wouldn't stay here.

The mattress sagged like a hammock, the sheet had a stain, and the toilet only flushed properly sometimes. Towels were tiny and so thin they might look transparent against the light. My room's shower had a ridiculous amount of caulking, apparently holding it together because it creaked so badly. The AC pumped out so much moisture that clothes hanging near it got damp. At breakfast, the “eggs” were yellow, but that's about where the resemblance ended. The building and its interior are worn down, especially the carpets and walls. The pool clearly hasn't worked for a long time: its shabby cover was half off and there was junk on the deck. Trailer parking is on an ungraded gravel patch at the back, and you have to drive over a curb to reach it. Near the garbage, the lot offers a wildlife encounter with huge numbers of cockroaches. Looking south from the windows, you can see trash left between the building and fence. There is no excuse for this neglect. It seems the owner wants to squeeze out every cent while spending as little as possible on upkeep. I can't imagine anyone returning, so maybe they're counting on first-time guests. I'm shocked Wyndham has its name attached to the place. Even other Days Inn locations are vastly better. I rarely leave a negative Google review, but this stay earned one. The night after leaving Moab, I stayed at a Comfort near SLC for less money, and it was phenomenal. Moab is epic and I'll be back, but I'll gladly pay more to stay elsewhere.

We booked a night here in advance through our AAA Travel agent, then moved next door to the Comfort Inn, which had a much nicer hotel, a working pool and a hot tub. I wouldn't recommend this Days Inn at all. It was run down and not worth the money. We're Wyndham Club members, but the staff never asked about our membership or any perks, including late checkout. I only asked at checkout the next morning to have the stay added to my Wyndham member number, after noticing a Wyndham sticker on the bathroom mirror. The Comfort Inn was amazing. Its king room had a sectional couch, and the employees went out of their way to make us happy and suggested must-see things nearby. I'd give that hotel and its staff five stars.

The rooms were clean, the beds were clean, and room service was great. The location worked well, with plenty of places to eat nearby, plus good service, amenities, and parking. The building and rooms are older, though, and the old carpet and furniture need upgrades. It didn't feel up to the Wyndham standard I expected. The walls are thin, so the sound of water moving through the pipes was annoying.
