River Canyon Lodge

We were only here for one night, and check-in came with an upgrade to a recently renovated room. The attention to detail, clean condition, and quality fixtures really impressed us. The pool and hot tub were fantastic too. It’s a short walk to the main stretch of shops and restaurants, yet nights were quiet.

The location worked really well for getting around Moab, and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I’d support this business because it’s owned by a local woman who bought it from her dad. After I mentioned the limited shelf space and lack of a dresser, they got in touch right away to ask how it could be improved. I suggested adding shelves on the side of the current furniture without hanging space. That storage issue is still there, but I appreciated the quick response.

Good prices, comfortable clean rooms, and friendly staff. The hot chocolate was great too 🍫 😋

We arrived late and tired on 7/6/25, and the front desk was pleasant. Our clean room on the top floor was quiet. There’s no continental breakfast, so we picked up snacks at the store before checking in. They do have coffee and a spot to refill water bottles. The fridge worked, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom had nice amenities. I’d stay again.
