We had a comfortable, clean stay in the Stella unit for three nights in June. After a busy day hiking at Arches or Canyon Lands, it had all the amenities we needed to relax. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to make meals, and most restaurants are within walking distance since the property is just off the main street. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Moab.

The kitchen was taken over by ants while we were there, even though we hadn’t left food or sweets out. I know ants can turn up in any house and are nearly impossible to get rid of, so that’s my one complaint. Otherwise, it was a nice, clean place that didn’t cost too much, and worked well as a base for hiking and exploring Moab. I’d stay here again.

We had a relaxing, enjoyable weekend here for my wife’s birthday, staying three nights in February. The room was very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful little details, especially for people traveling with dogs. It’s an easy walk to Main Street and Love Muffin, parking was simple, and the hot tub was comfortable. Great rates and dog-friendly accommodations too.

We left after one night because the room had no working AC, a big problem in Moab heat. It was 107 degrees the afternoon we checked in. Maintenance adjusted the temperature, but the AC still didn’t work, and I suspect that’s why there were so many box fans in the room. The hot tub also smelled stale when I lifted the cover, with white foam on top, despite the required fee. The washer and dryer were a welcome amenity, but there was mold on the washer door’s rubber seal. Staff were communicative by phone and agreed to cancel the rest of the reservation and refund the room fee only. The one night’s charge, cleaning fee, taxes, and hot tub fee added up to far more than the average hotel in the area. I booked the violet room based on the good reviews and was disappointed.

Scarlet was cozy, private, and very clean, with a well-stocked but super tiny kitchen, nice bathroom extras, and the bonus of covered parking. I felt safe, though I’d have been more comfortable with a deadbolt since the door seemed too easy to access. A channel guide for the TV would’ve helped too. Make sure they contact you a few days before arrival with the key box code, or you won’t be able to get in. Somehow I was overlooked, but eventually got inside after calling.
