Holiday Inn Express Mobile

I usually choose Hilton, but I wanted to save money and tried this Express Holiday Inn. I highly recommend it, from the hotel itself to the staff and location. Christina, Joleah, Quan, Charles, Robin, Joydin, Scott, Courtlandt, Latoya, and Mya deserve a personal shout-out for their wonderful hospitality and service. What a great team!

I was pleased with my stay and would recommend this hotel. I chose it because the mostly positive reviews appealed to me and it wasn't on an interstate frontage road, so I wouldn't have to listen to traffic all night. The room was quiet, clean, and in a safe area. My only reason for holding back a fifth star was the supposedly healthier breakfast. I'm a southerner and want real eggs and sausage. Stayed March 21 2026.

We were in room 316, and the carpet had a strong, awful odor, like dog urine or mildew. Soon after we settled in, my son and spouse had allergic reactions, including congestion, sneezing, and trouble breathing. We arrived after 10 pm after a church event, and I chose to tough it out rather than put my family through the hassle of finding another hotel so late, especially after a two-hour drive. The smell made the stay extremely uncomfortable and concerning for our family. Staff were very helpful when we raised it and offered another room, but that carpet smelled even worse. A hotel room should be clean, safe, and healthy, and this was not our experience. I wouldn't recommend the hotel, especially for families or people with allergies or sensitivities. I hope management takes this seriously because it could be dangerous for guests with allergies, asthma, or sensitivities. I'm an IHG Silver Elite member and have stayed in multiple hotels while traveling, but none were as disgusting as this. I'll never stay here again!

The biscuits and gravy at breakfast are a treat, and the beds are comfortable. We come here every year for the AHSAA State Bowling finals because the rooms are always clean. Just watch the turn into the parking lot if your car sits low, it can scrape. The second entrance farther down is a better choice. We’ll be back next year.
