Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mobile West I-10 by IHG

The room and lobby were very clean, the coffee was available around the clock, and the service was friendly. There’s a basic gym and a pool, too. I’d stay here again, and one awkward interaction wouldn’t put me off. When my wife wasn’t feeling well, we asked for the room to be cleaned later, but the cleaners refused. They were also rude when we requested extra towels.

The room was clean and the front desk staff were nice. Breakfast was free and pretty good, with omelettes, sausage, potatoes, plus a little marketplace selling snacks and ice cream. There are several fast food places nearby. Getting here from the freeway is a little awkward, but manageable. I like staying with IHG when I can, so we chose this spot for the night. The bathroom looks like it hasn’t been updated, and the shower head is in the bathtub.

I hardly ever leave a bad review, but I booked four rooms for my family and this place needs a deep clean. My room only had lukewarm or cool water. I asked for a small comp for that one room and was told $10 was the most they could offer. Customer service is dead. I won’t be back.

For the price, this is a great hotel, and I’d recommend it. Marley in laundry, along with Armani and the housekeeping team, were courteous, professional, and clearly on top of their work. The staff were unbelievably nice and accommodating. My only reason for not giving five stars is the location.
