Days Inn Mocksville

I travel for work, and after my second stay I can say this has worked well for me. Over the past year I’ve spent about 4.5 months at the Days Inn in Mocksville. It’s a basic hotel room, but clean, with a comfortable bed and good internet. I could do 25-man World of Warcraft raids without latency issues. The area is quiet, with a nearby lake for outdoor activities. Greensboro is 45 minutes away, Winston Salem 20 minutes, and Charlotte about 1.25 hours. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they’ll clean your room every day if you want, which isn’t always the case at budget hotels.

My wife called to ask the room price and was quoted $58. When we arrived, I was told it would be $98. I wish I could give zero stars. Don’t trust them or do business with these liars and thieves.

The room was clean, though it felt humid and a little stuffy. The pool was closed, which was disappointing. Still, the price was good and it was near everything we needed. Fine for a few days, or as a base while traveling through this way.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but there wasn’t much to make the place stand out. Trucks took up a lot of parking despite having a designated area. Housekeeping emptied the trash and left fresh towels and a washcloth, but didn’t make the bed. The hairdryer didn’t work, luckily I checked before washing my hair. I’m surprised Wyndham would put its name on this place, and I’m not sure the brand is reliable.
