Courtyard Modesto North

There’s food and coffee within walking distance, and Costco is just down the road. The place itself felt clean, comfortable, and safe, and the staff were amazing and attentive. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

The only real drawback for me was breakfast, which costs extra and is ordered from a menu. The fitness center is very well equipped. This is a fairly new hotel, and everything was clean and smelled nice. You can enter straight from Main Street, but watch out: Google Maps may direct you down the wrong way into the hotel area.

Jenn and Chris at the restaurant made my mornings, and the breakfast was fantastic. I especially liked the build-your-own breakfast bowl, plus having the full range of Starbucks drinks each morning. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays, so it felt warm as soon as I walked in. I was here on a business trip and loved the spacious, quiet room, comfortable bed, and large bathroom with plenty of good light. The staff were the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. I’d absolutely come back.

Janessa at the front desk was a superstar, and Breanne and Jennifer at The Bistro were sweethearts. Whoever runs Courtyard Modesto North understands old-fashioned hospitality. I’m so glad I booked here, and honestly can’t see myself staying anywhere else in Modesto. The hotel has loads of refined features for about what similar places charge, plus big-city amenities in a country setting. The huge gym gave me a great workout. Driving back from the main road was a little weird and Google directions were lousy, but being set back from the road means much less noise. I really loved this place.
