Best Western Airport Inn

The front desk guy was pretty nice, and there was a sheet in the room with the manager's number in case we needed anything. We didn't contact them, but it gave me the impression the manager cares about guests and their stay. It's a fine place to get a night's rest, though the rooms could be cleaner. They seemed clean enough, but there were wall stains and dirt on the carpet. The mattress cover had a stain that looked like blood, though it was under the fitted sheet. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner seemed very cheap. The booking site advertised a pool and hot tub, but neither was there. I'd seen that in other reviews, so I wasn't surprised. I also got a notice after booking that there's no elevator and you need to request a first-floor room when booking. I didn't need one, but that should be clearly stated on the site. Hopefully they accommodate guests who don't find out until after they've confirmed and paid.

The room was clean, the staff were really nice, and the location was close to lots of places. The manager even drove us to and from the concert. We were only in town for one night for the show, and I expected prices to be high, but it was surprisingly cheap.

The price might look good, but for just a few dollars more around the corner you can get much better quality. If you cancel or check out, they won't refund your money either. There's no elevator, and the floors feel so weak they might collapse at any moment. You can see signs of past water damage that have only been lightly patched. The mattresses are extremely old and worn, and the bathroom tiles are broken or missing grout. If you can't manage stairs, you have to request a first-floor room ahead of time, and that costs extra.

The gentleman at the front desk was polite, and I felt safe even though the location wasn't the greatest. The hotel and rooms were clean and didn't smell. I was there for a wedding. The pool wasn't working, but I hadn't planned to swim anyway. The beds weren't the best, but they did the job. Of the two other hotels nearby, this one was by far the best. I wouldn't call it five-star, but it wasn't two-star either. If you want a clean, more upscale place, Residence Inn is about 7-8 minutes up the road. Most of our family stayed there; it was very nice, but cost more per night.
